Rossum, who is best known for her awarded performance as Christine in the movie adaptation of The Phantom of the Opera, sings since she was a 7-years- old girl. Talking about the sensations music leaves in her, Emmy says, “I feel a real emotional connection to these songs”. “It’s a real expression of my innermost thoughts and feelings, hence the title 'Inside Out.'”The singer co-wrote all the songs of the album with producer Stuart Brawley. She continues, “This music is who I am," says Rossum of her self-titled debut record from Geffen. "In the movies, I've always felt like one piece of the puzzle. But this is all me. It's my baby.
